This site is one of the many strands being pulled together to mark the 50th  birthday of Kirkcaldy Civic Society. It is intended to celebrate the rich tapestry of history and heritage which the town enjoys. The site will contain photographs of 50 objects which relate to the town and be augmented by an accompanying narrative. The objectives are to stimulate memories, educate and create a platform to allow followers to add their own particular memories, information and knowledge. It is not intended as a definitive history but as a vehicle to stimulate interaction on Kirkcaldy’s past.
